A lot of cannabis education courses I have seen advertised online have been pure regurgitations of material that can be found easily and a lot of it I was already aware of.

I highly suggest you take notes during each lesson, as the quiz questions are quite specific to the content you have just seen. I won’t spoil too much, but this article will give you a great idea on what to expect during the first four lessons. The cannabis industry is booming right now, with no signs of slowing down. Many employers will value a certificate of this sort over any word-of-mouth claims of cannabis knowledge. The Endocannabinoid Certification program is perfect to add to any cannabis-related job resume!
Lesson 1: Introduction to the Endocannabinoid System
I thoroughly enjoyed this module as a bit of a refresher on the functions and potential deficiencies within the human endocannabinoid system.
This lesson is highly detailed and breaks down every function of the endocannabinoid system and cannabinoids incredibly well.
The positive effects of CBD and THC on the body are explained and also the potential side effects and drug interactions that can take place are highlighted.

Lesson 2: Ocular Health & Disease
Here is where we really start getting into some technical and scientific content concerning the endocannabinoid system.
This lesson starts out with an insightful discussion about how the human eye functions and what routine procedures may be affected by different ailments. Also, this initial section of the lesson provides important information on the different types of eye diseases and problems some may experience. The amount of pure information that is presented may be daunting for some, which is why I watched the video twice before I took the quiz.
I did not know much about the human eye before this lesson, but now, I feel I can name many major parts of the eye and what they do. Not to mention, I now have more knowledge about how cannabis interacts with the eye and what ailments can be helped with cannabis therapies.
This Lesson And Quiz Took Me: 20 Minutes (I Would Recommend Watching Video 2 or 3 Times Before Quiz)
Lesson 3: Neurological Disease And Health
I am highly interested in the relationship between cannabis and neurological health, so I was already looking forward to this module before I had taken the course.
First, we start off with a glimpse into the different parts and hemispheres of the brain, as well as their functions. The background information at the start of each module is especially valuable in understanding the content. I now have a great understanding of the human brian and which part does what function within the body.
Cannabis and the brain are explored through ailments such as Lou Gherigs’ Disease, CTE, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Epilepsy, and M.S, just to name a few.
Like the previous module, the content was informative and there was certainly a lot of great information to take in concerning neurological health and cannabis.

Lesson 4: Gastrointestinal Health And Disease
Lesson four of the Endocannabinoid Certification Program is all about gastrointestinal health and cannabis. Once again, we start off with a brilliant explanation of the digestive system, its functions, and how different diseases and ailments affect this important system of the body.
I found this module to be one of the harder ones so far, purely because I have no experience with gastrointestinal disease personally. The sheer amount of content and information contained within the short lesson will be of great value to me as a cannabis educator in the future.
This module covers:
- Oxidative Stress Diseases
